This module covers USA DeBusk’s updated 2025 Job Safety Analysis (JSA) process and the expectations for completing the new JSA form before work begins. Learners will review why JSAs are critical for preventing Serious Injuries and Fatalities (SIFs) and Potential SIFs (PSIFs), how to lead and participate in an effective JSA meeting, and how to clearly document hazards and controls—especially life-threatening risks (“what could kill us”). The course also reinforces Front Line Supervisor (FLS) responsibilities, crew engagement requirements, Short Service Employee (SSE) identification and mentoring, Safety Absolutes checklist use, required sign-offs, and the expectation to upload site documents into EHS Insight for retention and compliance. Successful completion confirms understanding of the new JSA form and that it replaces all previous versions.
